摘要
Hydro-talc (LDH) and polybromostyrene (PBS) fire-retardant composite were prepared, and then applied in fire-retardant PET nanocomposites(1) during this study. The polymer matrix, the coating agents type and the concentrations of LDH and PBS were systematically varied. The character of LDH was studied by using XRD and TGA. Dispersion of nano LDH in the polymer nanocomposites were characterized via TEM and SEM. The flame retardancy of PET composite with the addition of LDH and PBS fire-retardant composites was measured by the oxygen index.
