The structure of a new sesquiterpene from Ligularia dentata

摘要：

A new germacrane sesquiterpene was obtained from the roots of L. Dentata which was a folk herb medicine in China. Its structure was elucidated to be 1 alpha,4 beta,6 alpha,10 alpha-tetrahydroxy-3 beta, 5 alpha, 8 alpha-triangeloyloxygermacr-11-en-9-one with the spectroscopic techniques(such as IR, MS, H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR and 2D-NMR) and chemical transformation.
