摘要：

This paper discusses the initial value problem for second-order nonlinear impulsive integro-differential equations of Volterra type in a Banach space by means of upper and lower solutions. By establishing a comparison result, criteria on the existence of maximal and minimal solutions are obtained. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
