摘要
With this research, the spiritual intelligence characteristics of physically handicapped badminton players were examined in terms of various variables. The population of the study included 57 athletes who participated in the Physically Handicapped Badminton Championship of Turkey, and the sample group consisted of 31 physically handicapped badminton players, with an average age of (30.61 +/- 11.74), who voluntarily accepted to participate in this study. The demographic form containing personal information and the Spiritual Intelligence Self-Report Inventory developed by King (2008) and adapted to Turkish by Seyfi (2016) was used in the data collection. As a result, significant changes were determined in the spiritual intelligence characteristics of physically handicapped badminton players according to gender, age, duration of sportsmanship, and marital status factors. It is possible to say that the spiritual intelligence scores were more prominent for married athletes compared to those who were not married, for older athletes compared to younger ones, and for male athletes compared to female athletes
