摘要
Synthesis of pyrrolo(2,3-c)coumarin derivatives was achieved from 3-aminocoumarins, arylglyoxals and 4-hydroxycoumarin using 20mol% molecular iodine as a catalyst through one-pot three-component reaction. The products were isolated without aqueous work-up or column chromatography in good yields. The present protocol is an efficient synthetic route to access various substituted pyrrolo(2,3-c)coumarin derivatives in large scale.
