Coherent carrier dynamics in semiconductor superlattices driven by AC and DC fields

摘要：
Based on the Semiconductor Bloch Equations with the external field, absorption spectra and time-integrated squared THz emission signal of the GaAs/A1GaAs semiconductor superlattice under applied ac and de fields are calculated. From these calculations the coherent carrier dynamics related to the Wannier-Stark ladders, dynamical localization and the inverse Bloch oscillators in the full three-dimensional superlattice structure are analyzed and compared to those derived from the rather simple tight-binding models.
