摘要
With the view of reducing electrical energy consumption of TWEB (Three Wheeler Easy Bike) which travel in urban/municipal area of Bangladesh, its performance has been studied numerically considering various parameters that have impact on energy consumption. TWEB consumes electricity which is supplied from battery that is mostly recharged by using unauthorized electrical connection. As a result, negative impact creates on national energy consumption via national grid. Considering the impact on living standard of common people, environmental aspect and overall energy situation, it is most important to operate it at minimum energy supply instead of stopping it. Energy consumption of TWEB depends on the quality of road where vehicle travels, skill of its operator, performance of electrical motor, self-weight of vehicle, quantity of load bearing, quality of lubrication and vehicle shape performance to overcome drag. Hence numerical investigation has been carried out to reduce the drag so that less amount of energy is required from which its impact on energy demand can be decreased significantly. From investigation it is found that new model can reduce 36% drag than the existing model of TWEB.
