摘要：

This essay uses ficto-criticism to narrate how breast cancer initiates an investigation into Cartesian and feminist theories of mind and body. The essay traces how assumptions about embodiment and mutuality of mind/body connections get rethought as the process of surgery, treatment and healing unfolds.
