Simulation of the metamaterial structure based on curved surface

摘要
In this paper, a multi-layer metamaterial structure based on two-dimensional (2D) curved surface substrate is simulated working in THz band. The simulated results showed some novel properties compared to the conventional planar metamaterial absorber. The metamaterial structure based on curved surface presented good reflectivity between 8 and 14 THz, with a FWHM bandwidth of 6THz. With the transmissivity zero, the incident plane wave is partly polarization converted and partly absorbed.
