Extradigital glomic tumor of the forearm. About a case and review of literature

We report the clinical case of a 72-year-old man followed for 10 years by a specialized pain center, for neuropathic pain poorly systematized, triggered by the contact of the anteromedial face of the right forearm. After surgical excision, histological analysis indicated a well-circumscribed nodule in the subcutaneous region, confirming that the mass was a glomus tumor. In this clinical case, surgical excision allowed an immediate disappearance of the pains without recurrence to this day. (C) 2017 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
