A singular perturbation approach to sensorless control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor

摘要
In most permanent magnet synchronous motors, the electrical time constant is relatively small due to a small inductance. This has been exploited with a small parameter perturbation technique to develop observers for the position and velocity using measurements of currents. In this paper an algorithm proposed in [1] is developed experimentally and evaluated for the closed loop velocity control of a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Implementation issues are investigated. A detailed discussion is available in [2].
