摘要：

A brief review is given on the current status of research regarding the following: (1) How the structure and position of the solar wind termination shock are affected by energetic particle populations such as interstellar pickup ions and cosmic rays. (2) How interstellar pickup ions are reflected at the termination shock and injected into the process of diffusive shock acceleration to become anomalous cosmic rays.
