摘要：

The review features the brief history of fullerene discovery, fullerene structure, the chemical nomenclature and physical properties. The reactions of addition, reduction, oxidation, halogenation and reactions accompanied by the fullerenes sphere opening were considered. The data on polymerisation of fullerene, monomers on its basis were discussed in the study, chemical modifications by fullerene and that of modificated fullerene were also presented. The fields of fullerene and its derivatives application were listed.
