摘要：

The theory of core competence originally came out of the field of industry, only after a long time has it been applied to the educational area. According to the related research abroad and at home, the studies on the core competence of colleges is still in the primitive stage, and its further development in all the aspects call for the systematic progress. This thesis first makes clear the meaning of the core competence of colleges, together with its feature, its notion. It goes on with the analysis on the components of core competence of colleges. Thence on top of the analysis, the thesis comes up with certain methods to cultivate the core competence of colleges.
