Deterministic analysis of 3D waves near structures

摘要
A simple theory for a deterministic analysis of single point measurements of multidirectional waves near reflective structures is derived. The method is a variation of the Double Direction Analysis by Schaffer and Hyllested (1994). Assuming that reflections are due to a nearby linear structure, a constraint is imposed on the two directions. Analysis of synthetic data from the IAHR Working Group on Multidirectional Waves indicates that the method is capable of separating incident and reflected seas. It seems that the method even overestimates this separation.
