摘要
Teamwork is essential to develop the functions of the Primary Care Team. The Community Nursing professional is part of this team. Nursing Degree must provide teamwork skills. Then, it is very important to plan learning strategies for developing these skills. The aim of this study is to analyze cooperative teamwork student assessment, as well as to promote reflection on the need for group work on the Community Nursing subject in the Nursing Degree. A practical workshop on the subject of Community Nursing is carried out. Students should design a Promotion and Health Education program working in groups of five students. After the workshop, students filled a questionnaire designed for this purpose anonymously and voluntarily using a website. A total of 100 questionnaires were collected, yielding a response rate of 45%. Survey analysis showed an overall positive assessment of teamwork. The majority (85%) of students assessed positively working in group. Although, they point out that sometimes not all team members work equally. Students consider that as much as the task was carrying out, the cohesion among group members was increasing. So, this methodology can facilitate communication and consensus among students, basic skills for professional nursing. In addition, 89% of students believe that their work was useful for their self and for the rest of the teammates. The results pointed out that these kind of questionnaires, easily to use, provide useful information related to teamwork that can be analyzed in order to improve teaching strategies as well as student reflection and motivation. It is essential the student involvement in these tasks for optimal learning, training and skill development and the further professional duties.
