Experimental robustness study of positive position feedback control for active vibration suppression

摘要
A robustness study of vibration suppression of a flexible structure using positive position feedback (PPF) control was performed. The structure used for this purpose consists of a cantilevered beam with piezoceramic sensors and actuators. The control system was implemented for single-mode as well as multi-mode vibration suppression. The results revealed that the control system is robust to frequency vibrations for single-mode and multimode vibration suppression.
