DWT DCT based New Image Watermarking Algorithm to Improve the Imperceptibility and Robustness

摘要
Digital watermarking technique is used to provide the intellectual property rights. This technique proves the proprietor of the content. The authentication and identification of the ownership protect the data from intruders. The copyright protection protects the multimedia data from modifying, illegal copying and removing the data. The binary image is taken as the watermark, it scrambles first and then entrenched into the original image. In the proposed method, a blind digital watermarking algorithm is provided using DWT and DCT. HL coefficient is puzzled first before embedding the scrambled image into a HL coefficient of the cover image. This ensures additional security to the watermark entrenched image. In proposed method, invisible quality of watermarked image improves compared to existing methods. The proposed method obtains the higher PSNR value is 47.2724 than in existing methods. The proposed method is strong against attacks using the security strength.
