摘要
In work, the process of interaction of nitrilium derivatives of the closo-decaborate anion with lithium aluminum hydride was studied. Reduction process proceeds under mild conditions and leads to the formation of N-alkylammonium-closo-decaborate with high yields and selectivity. For the structure of ((NBu4)-Bu-n)[2-B10H(9)NH(2)CH(2)CH(3)] was confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
