摘要
Sphere of influence: Various transition metal (Ru, Pd and V) particles supported on nitrogen-doped carbon nanospheres have been synthesized and their catalytic activity studied for the chemoselective hydrogenation of diketones, the oxidation of styrene, and C-C bond formation (Heck and Suzuki) reactions. The catalysts show very high activity, selectivity, and recyclability in these reactions. Copyright © 2010 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
