For the problem of intercepting a highly maneuvering target by multi-interceptor, a cooperative guidance law based on differential game theory is proposed. A planar pursuit-evasion model is established, and the relative kinematic relation between the pursuers and the evader is analyzed, then a linear quadratic cost function that is suitable for all of the players is chosen. By assuming ideal dynamics of the interceptors and target, analytical closed-form optimal pursuit strategies for the interceptors and optimal evasion strategy for the target are obtained. Simulation results are used to validate the guidance law proposed. It is shown that the interception of a highly maneuvering target by interceptors that have disadvantage in maneuver is fulfilled, using the guidance law proposed.
