The measurement of an Agile enterprise is a complex process involving different decision levels and various criteria. These decision levels and criteria may vary depending on the type of company being considered. This paper critically reviews the current measurement process in the design of Agile enterprise and discusses why there is a need for developing a new approach. It particularly focuses on a generic measurement methodology. The prototype of measurement system developed in this paper examines how to choose agile attributes, proposes the measurement diagram, and then sets up the architecture of the system. The developed system demonstrates that decision-making technologies can be successfully integrated into the measurement process.
