摘要
The impact of internationalization in the different levels of "national economy is associated in particular, with the tendency to create strategic alliances, fusions, acquisitions and cooperatives based on business networking, as well as through more efficient use of processing capacity and leadership. The aim of this publication is analysis the position of the Slovak food industry in the process of expanding activities into new markets with a priority focus on the EU single market and with regard to the current regulation of internationalization and globalization activities. In the final phase is processed the SWOT analysis of the food industry in the macro-economic environment. The acceleration of these processes brings many advantages to business operators in the food sector in the terms of international business and cooperation, but on the other hand the competition is intensified.
