摘要
The effect of working processes on the microstructure, fracture behavior, and ductile-to-brittle transition temperature (DBTT) of pure tungsten (W) and W-1wt%La2O3 (WL10) materials was systematically investigated. The DBTT values were determined by Charpy tests performed in ambient condition. We found that the swaged + rolled WL10 sample exhibited the lowest DBTT, while pure W that was identically processed showed the highest strength of 2180 MPa. The current results indicated that the strength and ductility of tungsten material could be improved by La2O3 incorporation with a proper working process. (C) 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
