Where do we stand today in the training of academic librarians in Zurich? The development of society and the digital transformation are changing the professional field. Based on this, two future fields of the two continuing education programmes in library and information science (MAS) and data management and information technologies (CAS) in Zurich are discussed: communication and public relations and data management.
