摘要
In this work, the design and synthesis of a thiophene-core based hole transporting material (D1) are presented. It is shown that PSCs with D1 reach a power conversion efficiencies (PCE) of 16.5%, which is lower than 19.8% obtained by spiro-OMeTAD-based device. Importantly, the devices based-on D1 show relatively better stability compared to devices based on spiro-OMeTAD when aged under ambient air and under continuous 1-sun illumination in nitrogen, respectively. Moreover, the cost of D1 is around 1/30 of that of spiro-OMeTAD. The present finding highlights the potential of thiophene core or makes D1 as a potential HTM core for low-cost and high-performance PSCs.
