摘要
An amorphous V2O5 (a-V2O5) cathode for aqueous zinc ion battery was prepared via the solution method followed by low temperature annealing. The cathode shows better performance than crystal V2O5 (c-V2O5), including a high specific discharge capacity (348 mAh g(-1) at 0.1 A g(-1)) and great long term cycle stability of 2200 cycles at 5 A g(-1). The excellent performances are attributed to the high structural disorder which provides a great deal of insertion sites for Zn2+. In addition, the a-V2O5 can be massively produced based on the simple solution method which shows great potential in practical application. (C) 2020 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
