An M/G/1-type queueing system with nonperfect servers and no waiting capacity

摘要：

A single server queue with Poisson arrivals and no waiting room is considered where two types of services are offered. An arriving customer has to undergo the first service but the second service is optional. The service times for both types of services are exponentially distributed. Transient and steady-state distributions have been obtained for the number in the system.
