摘要
In order to reduce side effects of triclosan (TC), Pluronic F-127/alpha-cyclodextrin (PF/CD) supramolecular hydrogel was used as the carrier for TC, and a PF/CD/TC supramolecular hydrogel was prepared. The hydrogel property, antibacterial performance and cytotoxicity of this novel hybrid hydrogel were investigated. The results showed that the PF/CD/TC supramolecular hydrogel was characterized by an adjustable gelation time, mechanical strength and shear-shinning property with suitable CD concentration. The sustained release of TC could potentially reduce side effects of TC. With controlled antibacterial activity, the use of TC would be safer and more efficient. More importantly, this supramolecular hydrogel showed slight cytotoxicity, suggesting the great potential application as antibacterial tool for personal care products.
