摘要：
Poland ranks fifth among the European countries in terms of the industrial installations providing major incident hazards. Of particular importance are fuel-making plants where failures result 66% in fires and/or explosions that expand the original failure range and afflict people and environment with thermal radiation, fragments ejected and toxic emissions. Examples of incidents were given and legal issues were discussed, concerning fire and environmental protection in Poland.
