HPLC separation of metalaxyl and metalaxyl intermediate enantiomers on cellulose-based sorbent

摘要
A chiral stationary phase (CSP) was prepared by coating cellulose-tris(3, 5-dimethyl-phenylcarbamate) (CDMPC) onto aminopropylated spherical gel, and used this CSP to separate the enantiomers of metalaxyl and metalaxyl intermediate successfully by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The effects of 2-propanol concentration in mobile phase on retention and resolution were investigated, and according to this analytical method the optical purity of metalaxyl and metalaxyl intermediate was established.
