摘要
Although structure with specially shaped columns has a series of functional advantages, research shows that the joints with specially shaped columns will be shear bearing insufficient in high seismic intensity area, which limited seriously the application of this kind structure, so some scholars doubted or denied this kind structure, which is not conducive to extension of the frame with specially shaped columns. How to enhance the shear bearing of the joint with specially shaped columns; improve the seismic behavior of this kind structure, becomes to one of the research contents of the structure with specially shaped columns. This paper compared the seismic behavior of two middle joints with specially shaped columns, which one was poured by polypropylene fiber concrete in the core area, and another was poured by ordinary concrete. The failure characteristic, bearing capacity and ductility, hysteresis curve of experiment data and hysteretic curves of the two joint shear-average angle were researched, and the experiment and analysis method of the middle joint was discussed. It is shown that fiber reinforced concrete could improve the failure characteristic and the cracking load effectively of the joint with specially shaped columns, it also could enhance the hear bearing of the joint core, so this paper provides a practical method to improve the seismic behavior of the structure with specially shaped columns.
