摘要：
In this paper a model-based fault detection method of actuators in a biological wastewater treatment process is proposed. Using an extended Kalman filter, the states of a WWTP model are estimated. Then, comparing the estimated states affected by actuator faults with the model of the process, the residuals are generated. Simulation results show that faults can be detected effectively using this method.
