The need of the inclusion of students with disabilities and special educational needs in ordinary classrooms has become a crucial point of development of educational methodologies. We must bear in mind that the proper implementation of these methodologies is necessarily mediated by teachers, specifically by the attitudes that this group manifests towards students with disabilities and special educational needs. Teachers are a key element, and in the case of physical education teachers it is necessary to know their point of view given that, in this area, students with disabilities benefit especially from an inclusive practice that affects not only their health but also their psychosocial conditions. The aim of this study is to check the status of the issue: volume of publications and lines of research carried out related to attitudes towards disability of physical education teachers. According to the available bibliography, there is a recent interest in the subject. In general, the attitudes of teachers are positive although participation in physical education classes of students with disabilities is a challenge for teachers who require more training in this field.
