Photoluminescence dynamics in CuCl thin films under high-dense one- and two-photon excitations

摘要
We have investigated photoluminescence (PL) dynamics in CuCl thin films under high-density one- and two-photon excitations for excitonic states. Using the optical Kerr gate method, the formation and decay processes of biexctions were observed, and the time-dependent effective temperature was evaluated. We also observed the SHG signals for the excitation laser pulses under the two-photon excitation. However, we could not observe the PL band due to exciton-exciton scattering processes (so-called P emission) under any experimental conditions because of the high thermal stability of biexcitons in CuCl thin films.
