摘要
The antibacterial response of magnetically soft ZnFe2O4/ AgCl nanocomposites synthesized via co-precipitation method varying the concentration of silver precursor AgNO3 is studied via various methods. The antibacterial effects are visually inspected using microtiter assay method, making use of Resazurin dye as an indicator. For quantitative analysis, the samples were studied under disc diffusion method by dispersing the samples in dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) and in disc diffusion method by dispersing the samples in water through sonication. Enhancement of activity against bacterial cells is seen due to the effective dispersal of nanocomposites facilitated through sonication in well diffusion method. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd.
