摘要
Among the countries of the west Pacific area. China is the most severely and frequently influenced by storm surge disaster Government pays more attention in system construction of storm surge disaster prevention and reduction. GIS aided storm surge disaster prevention and reduction information system is developed and plays the kernel roles of information fetching, storage. analysis. simulation and data Ouput. This paper provides 5 aspects of the application studies of GIS and a case study is also included about storm surge disaster occurred in Wenzhou district of Zhejiang province in southeast China.
