The influence of beam diffraction on multifrequency parametric Raman generation

摘要
The rotational parametric Raman scattering of hydrogen in a cell 0.6 m in length was examined using a variable diameter of collimated pump beam. At decreasing diffraction length of the pump beam from 330 to 95 cm, the energy of anti-Stokes components was reduced by a factor of more than 20. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
