Numerical Simulation of Effect of Temperature Gradients on Flow of Liquid Film in Heat and Mass Transfer Devices

摘要
Thin layers of viscous liquid (liquid films) moving on a solid surface under the action of gravity at moderate Reynolds numbers are investigated. A mathematical model of non-isothermal liquid film is presented. The dispersion equation is derived, the coefficients of which include the following parameters: surface tension, surface viscosity, Marangoni parameter, constant shear stress. The connection between the main characteristics of the liquid film flow is established. The increment and phase velocity are calculated for the surface tension inhomogeneity. The critical value of the Marangoni parameter of the current film is calculated. The results of computational experiments on the calculation of the wave characteristics of the liquid water film are presented.
