摘要
Nowadays the student is becoming a more active participant in the educational process thanks to the Flipped Classroom teaching style. This requires a radical change in teacher's role, making it more flexible. Classes are more interesting, collaborative, with more discussion through the previous homework, teachers appears as instructors and learning is more effective and significant. Of course technology can help to this educational model. Mobile devices as smartphones and tablets are commonly used by students, mainly for gaming and social purposes. The combination of this hardware and proper educational software allows the teacher to engage the students and so to make the learning more significant. In this work, several free programs devoted to quick surveys, video editing, and specific discipline-related software were evaluated in order to help the Flipped Learning strategy. Student motivation and achievement with Flipped teaching and with traditional lecture learning were compared. The implementation of the pedagogical approach Flipped + ICT joined to the incorporation of techniques such as Puzzle-based Learning has pointed out the effectiveness of the strategy proposed. Thus, an increase in the involvement degree and student motivation were appreciated. Knowledge building has also been improved through the active-collaborative learning. The experience has a multidisciplinary approach. It has been applied to students with very different academic profiles in subjects of different degrees. It has been demonstrated that this strategy is financially independent and the studied resources can be transferred to other subjects and knowledge disciplines.
