Glass Formation in Quaternary Systems of Group I-IV Fluorides

摘要
We have studied the glass-forming regions in the lead-fluoride-containing quaternary fluorozirconate systems ZrF(4)-PbF(2)-LaF(3)-NaF (ZPLN), ZrF(4)-PbF(2)-BaF(2)-LaF(3) (ZPBL), and ZrF(4)-PbF(2)-BaF(2)-NaF (ZPBN). Their temperature characteristics have been determined by differential thermal analysis, and the most stable glass compositions have been identified.
