摘要
Legal translation is an important channel for a country to assimilate advanced legal philosophy and transplant legal systems from other countries. This paper takes the "citizen suit" as an example to illustrate how issues of legal transplant can be approached from the angle of forensic linguistics. To be specific, the paper analyzes three pragmatic dilemmas involved in the transplant of the American "citizen suit" system and explains how legal translation influences legal transplant in different ways and to what extent.
