Method of Pilot's Motion Retrieval and Recognition Based on Dynamic Programming

摘要
Newly-developed technologies have been widely used in aircraft cockpit and put increasing pressure on human machine interaction during flight. The process of carrying out flight tasks for pilots is dynamic and continuous. Trough retrieving and recognizing motion fragments from this process, pilot's motions can be analyzed with ergonomical parameters. Collect pilot's 3-D motion data during a complete flight test and train motion templates independently according to flight tasks. Search for primary programming zones achieving the closest results via Euclidean distance measure. Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) is then optimized to get candidate routes which match the templates best. After that, motion complexity, energy and entropy values are analyzed in time and frequency domain. Finally, optimal recognition results can be selected out. Experiments based on a certain type of aircraft simulator were performed to verify the study. Results have shown the effectiveness and practicability of the method.
