摘要
Lambl's excrescences are common fibrinous strands found at the contact margin of cardiac valves. They are referred to as "giant" when multiple strands form a complex. Embolic stroke secondary to these valvular strands has rarely been described in the literature. We present a patient with recurrent thromboembolic cerebral infarction secondary to giant Lambl's excrescence successfully treated with anticoagulation. (C) 2012 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
