摘要
A hyperelastic strain energy function for foamed rubber introduced by Lewis and Rangaswamy (2011) is in the process of being improved and extended. The model is now unconditionally polyconvex. Recent extensions will be presented, including the effect of matrix compressibility, which will remove a singularity present in the original model. Additionally, the effects of pore gas compressibility are rigorously included for bounding conditions of isothermal and adiabatic compression.
