摘要
A novel method for multiplexing intensity-type fiber-optic sensors using wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) and spatial division multiplexing (SDM) is proposed and demonstrated. A variation of +/- 0.2 dB at a loss of -10.95 dB is obtained, which is comparable with that obtained by the traditional method. The experimental results show, that the sensor at the up-leading fiber has no influence on the sensor at the down-leading fiber. (C) 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
