摘要
Using the costs for cleaning and disinfection it is shown that the self-inspection required by the Lebensmittelhygiene-Verordning (LMHV) [Foodstuffs Hygiene Regulations] can be an opportunity to save costs. Verification of the efficiency of cleaning and disinfection regiments is relatively simple via a hygiene register. The costs of cleaning and disinfection shown in a model calculation make clear the importance of regular monitoring of the cleaning and disinfection and what potential savings may result.
