摘要
The continuous development of smart grid makes its applications showing more characteristics of a large amount of data, business-rich, some applications' higher requirements and extensive coverage. The wide-area control system and distribution network-related applications which based on the PMU data, have critical real-time requirement for data, the traditional TCP / IP network com communication is host-oriented, and can not support real-time applications so well, which makes the wide-area communication system under the large power grid greatly affected by the delay. However, the NDN network has better flexibility and scalability compared with the current IP network. Therefore, this paper analyzes the current status of the smart grid and the NDN network. Then on this bases, combined with PMU data using ndnSIM for smart grid environment, the NDN network is feasible in the application of smart grid is proved through delay, link failure recovery time and has obvious advantages compared to the TCP/IP network.
