摘要：
Viral subversion and inhibition of host cell autophagy has been documented for several viruses. In this issue of Cell Host & Microbe, Gannage et al. (2009) show that the influenza virus M2 integral membrane protein blocks autophagosome maturation, significantly affecting host cell apoptosis.
