摘要:
This paper reviews calculating the electric and magnetic field induced voltage and current on de-energized transmission lines paralleled by energized transmission lines using the method and software code provided in the annexes of IEEE Standard 524-2003. The assumptions and limitations of this method are described along with providing a method for overcoming these limitations. The purpose of this paper is to show the necessity for consideration of unsymmetrical faults, protective relay clearing time, and distance from temporary protective grounds for protecting personnel from exposure to dangerous amounts of current and touch potential as well as providing a simple method for inclusion of these considerations in calculations using IEEE Standard 524-2003's method and software code.
